The Iglesia ni Cristo or the Philippine Church of Christ is founded by Jesus Christ himself. The "man" I'm talking about on the title of this post isn't Felix Ysagun Manalo but Jesus Christ himself. The I.N.C. claims that Jesus Christ is only a man and Felix Manalo was an angel. Hmmm... isn't that very pathetic?!? So, if Jesus Christ is only a man, then because the name of their Church is Iglesia ni Cristo or Church of Christ in English. Then what does "of" means?
The word "of" is sometimes use to describes who owns something (e.g. Necklace of the president, House of God, Headband of that girl.) Since the name of their church is Church of Christ then it means according to them Christ founded their Church. But according to the teachings of the Iglesia ni Cristo, Christ is only a man so according to themselves, their Church is founded by a man.
Then, what does the Bible tells about the Church founded by a man and not by God? Here is it...
"Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain." - Psalm 127:1 (NASV)
So they are trying to make the Lord Jesus to be in vain. Please remember that the word "LORD" and the word "Lord" is different. The word "LORD" means God, in some Old Testament verses it says "LORD God". The word "Lord" refers to a master. The LORD there is not the Lord Jesus Christ. So they are trying to throw the Lord Jesus Christ in hell. The Iglesia ni Cristo is very heretical and isn't godly because they are trying to throw the Lord Jesus Christ to hell and labor in vain. I wouldn't join the Iglesia ni Cristo of Philippines because it is evil!
